The UK Drum Show Confirms Final Main Stage Artist Kenny Aronoff for 2024

The UK Drum Show is thrilled to welcome our final main stage artist for The UK Drum Show 2024, the amazing Kenny Aronoff, appearing in association with Zildjian, Tama, Evans heads and Vic Firth sticks!

Kenny Aronoff is one of the world’s most influential and in demand session and live drummers. Rolling Stone Magazine, in fact, cited him as one of the “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” and Modern Drummer named him #1 Pop/Rock Drummer and #1 Studio Drummer for five consecutive years. The list of artists he’s worked with on the road and/or in the studio reads like a who’s who of the music industry, and includes:

John Mellencamp, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Chris Cornell, Tom Petty, Sting, The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Gibbons, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Bob Seger, Steven Tyler, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, Jon Bon Jovi, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Beyonce, Santana, Crosby Stills and Nash, Celine Dion, Lenny Kravitz, and many others.

The UK Drum Show which takes place in Liverpool on the 28th & 29th September 2024 at The ACC Liverpool for its third year, after moving from Manchester two years prior to expand its campus for both exhibits and campus content, is now largely seen as the largest consumer gathering of drummers in the UK, with organiser Neil Golding continuing to progress a further event, The Europe Drum Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany on the 29th & 30th March 2025.

For guests visiting The UK Drum Show 2024, further new features have been added to entertain, educate and provide a platform for our their younger visitors, and future drummers.

New for 2024, offers the digitalDrummer E-Drum Lab, with Allan Leibowitz, editor and founder of digtalDrummer magazine from Australia, playing host to this dedicated electronic drum room. Here drummers will experience performances and clinics on all things electronic drums, with specialists on hand to answer your digital drum tech questions.

Further championing young drummers, The UK Drum Show has introduced ‘Main Stage Mini’ for 2024, a further dedicated room where young drummers will get to play their tracks to an enthusiastic audience. YouTube submissions were welcomed to the organisers team, for them to pick and select a variety of young talent to appear across the weekend. “Having seen an increase in young drummers over the past few years it only seemed right to reward their efforts and commitments to learning to play drums, whatever their stage may be in the learning process. With so many distractions to occupy young peoples time, we have been hugely encouraged by the number of submissions we have received and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of drummers in future years,” states organiser Neil Golding.
