K-array signs distribution deal with ISD India

The Italy-based company has teamed up with ISD India as it expands into the region.

K-array has announced a partnership with its specialised distribution chain, ISD India.

ISD will be responsible for the sales and service of all K-array products in India.

ISD will aim to service major markets through an independent sales development approach. This strategy is followed on from the establishment of K-array China and ISD Japan, which begun earlier this year.

Sawan Nichani, Sameer Nichani and Sidharth Dham, all run ISD India. The team provides elementary access of K-array products and services to the pro audio industry. The newly-formed group is experienced and aims to bring the K-array brand to a leading position in India.

K-array’s director of sales – APAC, Marc Vincent, said: “I believe ISD India will quickly escalate K-array in the country as I can already feel the sector’s enthusiasm and appetite for the high-end, unique audio solutions we provide.”

ISD hosted K-day in July at Lutyens Resort Delhi, where over 60 industry professionals were brought together to discuss K-array. A K-academy workshop was included, and an installed sound overview and applications was presented by product specialist, Daniele Mochi, from K-array Global in Italy. The event allowed K-array to present its products to the market, such as audio solution Azimut, and the flexible Anakonda speaker.

Alex Tatini, co-founder and president of K-array, said: “It was important to get off on the right foot in such an important market as India, and ISD India demonstrated their willingness to take the brand to new heights. We look forward to a productive partnership.”
