Gamechanger Audio Release Light Pedal Optical Spring Reverb
Gamechanger Audio have released the The LIGHT Pedal. This new addition to GCA produces a wide range of analog reverb sounds by using special Infra-Red optical sensors targeted across the length of a Spring Reverb tank.
These Optical Sensors are extremely sensitive and they are able to pick up all sorts of overtones and harmonics that occur in a Reverb Tank’s springs, as sound is travelling through it.
The Result is an analog Reverb that can produce a wide variety of sounds, ranging from classic to experimental to pure magic!
The LIGHT Pedal concept was created by their youngest electronics engineer Teodors, who started with them as an intern a year an a half ago.
The LIGHT Pedal created a ton of buzz at NAMM, and it also received Music Radar’s BEST IN SHOW Award – a massive honour to Teo and to the whole GCA Team!
