CUK signs with Japan’s Sonicware for new digital Synth
Distributor CUK has signed exclusive UK distribution rights for the Japanese designed and made Sonicware ELZ_1 Digital Synthesiser.
CUK’s Steve Barton explains that Sonicware is the brainchild of Dr. Yu Endo, synthesist and inventor. The company is based in Tokyo, where all products are hand made by a small team.
‘Endo-san is passionate about digital music and creating accessible, fun products for music makers and sonic explorers. The ELZ_1 is the first production model and due to ship to dealers in May this year,’ Barton says.
Despite its boutique pedigree, the ELZ_1 is likely to sell for just £499. CUK says the first 50 units will have limited edition padded carry pouch included and that it is taking pre-orders now.
