Vox Announces New Limited Edition AC Two-Tone Range

Vox UK have announced three new limited edition models to their AC range in a two-tone blue and cream finish.

This limited-edition AC features a two-tone blue and cream colour scheme as well as a retro badge logo from the ’70s which gives an alternative aesthetic to this already iconic amp. Perfect for home practice, small gigs, or recording, the AC10 Custom offers classic Vox sound in a compact, stylish package.

Overview

The limited custom-colour amps released by Vox have long been immensely popular among Vox players. Now, a new two-tone model featuring cream and deep royal blue is here. Named TTBC (Two Tone Blue & Cream), this model combines these colours with a black diamond fret cloth, resulting in a distinguished appearance. By incorporating a retro badge logo from the ‘70s, it proudly carries on the brand’s rich tradition.

The original Vox AC10, released in the 1960s, has become a coveted item in Vox’s history. The limited edition AC10 Custom model not only carries the legacy of the original but also features Vox’s Top Boost tone, reverb, and a master volume. The limited-time two-tone blue & cream ﬁnish will further enhance the value of this ampliﬁer.

The AC10 Custom is equipped to produce that perfect Vox ‘chimey’ tone. With the gain control set low you get a rich warm clean sound. Add in some more gain and it soon starts to venture into a creamy overdrive territory that Vox are so well known for.

The original AC10 featured a single tone control, but we have added more control on the AC10 Custom with a Bass and Treble circuit that adds different and versatile tone setup and enhances the various levels of gain.

A welcome addition to any amp of this size is reverb and we painstakingly designed the AC10 Custom’s reverb to sound just right, adding tonal ambience without being overwhelming, which is all too often the case with many other amps.

On the back panel you will also ﬁnd an extension speaker jack. This lets you connect up to another 16 ohm guitar cab, eBectively turning the AC10 Custom into and all-valve 10-watt head.

With its small format but big sound, the AC10 Custom will be at home anywhere. Whether practicing at home, jamming with friends, small gigs or recording, this amp is the perfect choice. You just plug in and sound great!
