Ovation’s Applause Brand Unveils Flatback Jump Series Acoustic Guitars
Applause by Ovation, known for their high-quality, affordable acoustic guitars, is proud to announce the release of their brand-new Jump series. After years with solely roundback body designs, the Jump series is the first one that features a flat body design and is geared towards a new generation of guitarists who want to make a statement with their instrument and express their individuality through modern colors and sustainable materials.
The Jump series features two models: the APPLAUSE Jump OM Cutaway Electro and the APPLAUSE Jump Slope Shoulder Dreadnought. Both models are crafted with premium materials, including a solid European spruce top, dovetail neck joint, ovangkol back and sides, European maple neck and ovangkol fingerboard and bridge. All woods come from sustainable cultivation, catering to environmentally conscious guitarists. The attention to detail continues with the proprietary OV pinless bridge, maple binding, and a new Jump design pick guard and matte chrome tuners. The instruments are available in a variety of vibrant and modern colours.
The APPLAUSE Jump OM Cutaway Electro comes equipped with the Applause AP3PT preamp with tuner, which delivers a clear and precise amplified sound while maintaining the natural tone of the guitar. The APPLAUSE Jump Slope Shoulder Dreadnought, on the other hand, is designed for the pure acoustic experience, allowing the natural sound of the guitar to shine through without any electronic enhancement.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Jump series to our line of guitars,” says Marcel Messner, CEO of Ovation guitars. “The Jump series is the perfect choice for young guitarists who want to cut through the mix. With its superior craftsmanship, premium materials, sustainable woods and modern colors, the Jump series is sure to appeal to music enthusiasts of all levels.“ The Jump series is available for purchase now.
