New Acoustic Offerings From Guild Guitars
Guild acoustic guitars, distributed by Selectron UK, have announced several new acoustic guitars for 2020, covering a variety of price points in jumbo sizes, plus a new Guild USA M-25 California Burst.
The Guild USA series saw several new exciting additions this year including the show-stopping M-25E in California Burst, built in their Oxnard, California factory.
This concert size acoustic guitar is built with a solid mahogany top, back, and sides. It features a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, and bone nut and saddle. The M-25E’s updated appointments include a fully bound body, a vintage style rosette, Guild’s peak logo inlaid in mother-of-pearl on the headstock, gloss nitrocellulose top and headstock with satin body and neck, and an exquisite California Burst finish.
Each M-25E comes with a hand-signed, numbered certificate of authenticity, and ships with a hardshell case. – RRP £1,725.
Guild welcomed the new Jumbo Junior Reserve Maple into their Westerly Collection. Featuring a beautiful flamed maple back & sides, exotic padauk body and fretboard binding, padauk rosette, mother-of-pearl block inlays, and a light satin natural finish. Perfect for those who love the look of a jumbo, but may not love the size. RRP £469.
The F-55 Maple in Antique Burst and the F-512 Maple in Antique Burst are both made on the same arch press that’s been a part of Guild manufacturing since 1985, and provide sharply focused trebles and an articulate mid-range, perfect for a full, centralized, harp-like sound.
