Music Man Cutlass now in HSS format
Music Man’s Cutlass guitar is now available in humbucker/simgle/single pickup format.
Erie Ball says that since its introduction last year, the 22 fret Cutlass guitar has proved to be an extremely well-received member of its Modern Classic collection, alongside the StingRay guitar. ‘Never ones to rest on our laurels, we’ve followed up the original triple-single-coil pickup version with a brand new HSS model, to provide players even more tonal versatility’.
The Cutlass guitar features updated vintage spec electronics, a super smooth modern tremolo system and lightweight alder body. An oversized 4 over 2 headstock with straight string pull provides superior tuning stability and the guitar offers a wider tonal range thanks to the inclusion of a humbucking pickup in the bridge position.
‘Essentially, the Cutlass HSS allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds: classic, vintage single coil tone from the neck and middle pickups, as well as hotter, higher output from the bridge pickup. Don’t settle for one or the other, treat yourself to both!’ says Ernie Ball.
