LIGS – just two weeks to go

Billed as Europe’s largest one day event of its kind, The London International Guitar Show, returns to the Kempton Park Racecourse on Sunday 28th October from 10am to 4.30pm.

Organisers Northern Guitar Shows are promising a bumper event for this year, the Show’s third visit to Kempton Park, with over 160 exhibitors and all the usual NHS attractions, including an affordable entrance fee for visitors, free parking for all, good transport links including proximity to the motorways (Kempton Park even has a railway station in the venue grounds), Long-distance visitors can also benefit from a large range of reasonably priced accommodation nearby.

As with all the NGS exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and live music will be available in separate areas throughout the day, with some of the top names in the industry performing in an intimate setting. This year sees German guitar supremo and Vintage Signature guitar endorser Thomas Blug demonstrating his range of BluGuitar amps, speakers and accessories.

Former Stone Roses and Asia guitarist Aziz Ibrahim Esq. will be performing an eclectic set, while Lazy J Custom Amps will present The Phil Harris Band playing a set of classic rock tracks using some of the most revered and sought after examples of vintage electric guitars.

Also performing will be NGS stalwarts The Huers, taking advantage of the show’s PA system provider BOSE professional.

Public admission will be just £10 (pay on the door) with accompanied under-12’s free.

LIGS is sponsored by PMT, Reflex Print, Acoustic Review, BluGuitar, Fret-King Guitars, Vintage Guitars, Lazy J Custom Amps, The Guitar Magazine, Sfarzo Strings, The Musicians’ Union and Reverb.
