Barnes & Mullins Ltd agree exclusive distribution for DR Strings in UK & Ireland
Barnes & Mullins Ltd is proud to announce a new distribution agreement with DR Strings, the esteemed American manufacturer known for their hand-wound guitar and bass strings. From April 2025, Barnes & Mullins will oversee British and Irish distribution across DR’s full product range—including the newly launched Dragon Skin+ strings.
Founded in New Jersey in 1989 by Mark Dronge, DR Strings quickly earned a reputation for returning to traditional string-making techniques. In an industry increasingly dominated by automation, DR placed a renewed emphasis on hand craftsmanship, precision winding, and player-focused performance.
