Ashdown’s new bass pedals now available
Shown at NAMM 2019 but only just becoming available is a complete new range of professional bass effects pedals made in the UK by Ashdown.
The veteran bass amp (and now guitar amp) maker says its PRO FX range of pedals are ‘manufactured in the UK using selected components from the best manufacturers in their respective fields. All of the effects are designed to be powered from a linear isolated 18V supply to ensure the best signal to noise ratio and lowest possible background noise, this is essential with high gain distortion pedals and floor up compressors.
‘All pedals in the range are constructed with robust Steel housings with Anodised front fascias. Genuine Neutrik Jack sockets are used throughout’.
The pedals are finished in attractive colours with the main centrepiece on each being the sapphire-coloured illuminated LED that lights-up Ashdown’s famous double-winged logo when the pedal is engaged.
Models on offer include the Triple Shot Drive Pedal, a super high gain bass distortion with three band EQ, the Maccchiatto Compressor (designed in association with Guy Pratt), the Studio Compressor, the Type 23 Three Band Filter and the Velvet Compressor. They will sell at RRPs from £249-£299.
