Admira launches three new handcrafted models
Spanish classical guitar brand Admira Guitars has announce three new additions to its ‘Handcrafted’ range in the UK.
The new A3, A4 and A6 classical guitars increase the popular Handcrafted series to a total of thirteen models – all currently available in the UK exclusively through Barnes & Mullins.
All three feature solid cedar tops with a hi-gloss finish and mahogany necks. A mixture of ovangkol (a relative of rosewood), ebony and rosewood are used for the backs and side woods, again with a hi-gloss finish. Fingerboards are made of kabukalli on the A3 and A4 models, with the A6 boasting a rosewood fingerboard and rosewood neck reinforcement. All models feature traditional and decorative maple back bindings, with a maple top binding included on the A6.
B&M says: ‘Staying true to the principles of producing classical guitars using traditional methods, Admira’s Handcrafted Series guitars are manufactured at the company’s original home in Zarautz, northern Spain by highly skilled Spanish-trained luthiers. Manufacturing with traditional techniques ensure all models display exceptional expression, clarity and tone, making them the perfect choice for established classical players as well as those discovering the instrument for the first time’.
Admira’s new Handcrafted models will retail for £350 (A3), £390 (A4) and £415 (A6).
