TC Konnect 6 tried all suggestions.
I have a problem on Windows 7 64 bit with the Konnekt 6. I have been at it now for weeks…I have looked everywhere in this forum and tried everything suggested thus far, to no avail. It used to work fine for a long time (2 years), then I got a job that required me to plug a headphone via USB into my PC for online pipeline software and since then the Konnekt 6 would not be recognized by my PC anymore. It does not show up under my volume options anymore either and it used to I could choose between it and my PC soundcard under the volume icon…Not anymore, it’s simply not there…I have the legacy driver updated. The unit comes on through firewire without power plug plugged into it as before and I get sound through headphones. The konnekt software says “no device”, I have checked firewire and restarted many many times…I use Cubase 7 and although it shows the Konnekt as an option it keeps saying I can not switch and gives me a 02×02 error code or something like that. I show no conflicts in device manager either or any problem exclamation. I show the legacy working fine in there but see no other Asio driver, only the legacy and the old driver I upgraded from. I do not show the konnekt 6 in the device manager per se. I am in a rut, I ordered a new soundcard although the soundcard powers on the konnekt 6 indicating it’s working fine. I have also updated to the latest konnekt 6 software. What am I missing? Could it be a windows update that messed with it? I am out of ideas and have tried every bit of suggestions I could find on here.
