Stingray5 Special HH in Rosewood availability?

Anyone else having issues getting new Stingray5 HH Specials? I ordered a Jet Black w/ rosewood fingerboard in March. The delivery date kept slipping and now I’m told that it’s November 11th 2019… and I might not get it then since there are other people who have ordered the same.

I’d be curious how long it takes to manufacture these basses since 8+ months seems like a long time to wait on a ~$2,500 instrument. This is my first Ernie Ball purchase so I’m curious if this is normal since I’m really tempted to cancel the order and go with a different bass.
