Sterling inventory. Why so low?

Why is it that major retailers have so few sterlings? Sweetwater has everything but sterlings. Bass central has no sterling 5’s. What’s going on? I was hoping to pull the trigger on a Sterling 5 but it seems like they aren’t readily available. Please tell me they aren’t being phased out.
