stereo cables vs mono cables
I noticed the white paper talks about using balanced stereo cables to lower noise between the g system and the amp particularly when large distance between the two.
It also states that even if you run stereo cables direct into the amp effects loops there will still be a noticeable difference in noise levels eventhough almpst all amps have mono unbalanced inputs for the effects loop and amp input…
Is this true?
Im just about to dish out on new cables and if this is the case I might as well spend on quality balanced stereo cables as opposed to unbalanced mono instrument cables..
I don’t want the hassle of lagging a ISO box and extra cables so if its not the case Ill just shelve out on quality unbalanced instrument cables…
