Sabre Excessive Overtones

I just purchased my Sabre in Blurple . Its a lovely guitar…and HIGHLY resonate. So much so that on leads I get enduring note overtones. I initially thought this was a feedback loop issue, so I plugged into my amp less setup, direct into my interface. The overtones are the same or maybe even a bit more pronounced ampless.
