NYNGD: New Year's New Guitar Days! NYNGD #2018-6

.
Welcome to Day 6 of my annual New Year’s New Guitar Days (NYNGD)!

Thanks for the kind words and comments on NYNGD #2018-5!

Sme of you may have noticed a day without a NYNGD — that’s because i was working on today’s reveal which is a big deal. Four guitars in one day!

Before I reveal it, though, I have to say that I am royally 😡 p!ssed 😡 at PeteDubaldo for stealing my idea… I was gutted last week when I saw his Christmas group shot, as I was planning this New Year’s group shot. Pete… you and I will have words about stealing intellectual property. 😀 😀 😀

OK… here’s the group shot:

Yes… I was too slow to get all of the guitars done by New Year’s for a big reveal, but instead we’re ringing in the New Year with four Majesty BFR Sparkles! Guys, these things are simply awesome. No camera does them justice. And each finish is better than the last! When you see the Gold Sparkle and the Marine Blue Sparkle, you say, “Those look killer!” Then you see the Cinnabar Red Sparkle and you say, “That looks double killer!!!” And then you see the Fuchsia Sparkle and you say, “Holy sh!t, that looks killer squared!” Yep. These things are that good. I could NEVER see myself playing a Fuchsia sparkle guitar… and I look at this one and literally cannot stop myself from smiling ear to ear and rocking it! So, so cool.

Those of you with a keen eye will notice that the Fuchsia Sparkle has chrome hardware instead of the stock black — mine was the prototype that was shown in the NAMM BFR room!

I won’t talk more, as we have a LOT of photos for you today. Note that I didn’t have time to finish all the shots of the Cinnabar Red Sparkle, but I’ll add those tomorrow.

I’ll be back tomorrow-ish with another NYNGD: New Year’s New Guitar Day! Thanks for looking everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

(The back story in case you’re new to my NYNGD: For the past couple of years I’ve done a fun thing that most of you I think enjoyed, and I thought I would do it again this year. Every year, I am a slacker about keeping my Guitar Gallery up to date… So, as a fun holiday thing, let’s launch a guitar in the Guitar Gallery each day leading up to New Years Eve! In the past I’ve received PM’s about my collection and whether I play all of these guitars. 🙂 The same question came up during my NYNGD posts a few years ago and my answer was pretty detailed and well thought-out, so please check it out here!)

(Also, in case anybody gets any funny ideas — these guitars are not at my house. They are all in my very secure and alarmed studio facility. I usually only have two guitars floating around the house…)
