Netflix presets for Clarity M
Hello,
As you may know Netflix has new delivery specs for original content. The new measurement should use 1770.1 with dialog gate. This is basically the old Dolby dialog gate in the LM100 and differs from the gate used in 1770.4.
“Average loudness must be -27 LKFS +/- 2 LU dialog-gated. Peaks must not exceed -2db True Peak. Audio should be measured over full program according to ITU-R BS.1770-1 guidelines”.
At the moment Nugen is the only developer coping with this issue (Loudness Toolkit V2).
It would be great if TC could release a new firmware with presets for Netflix compliance.
