Need A Bit Help With The G-Sys and An Volume/Express Pedal
Dear,
i need a bit advice on how to connect and add an volume/expression pedal to my G-system Rig.
I used a few years back… before i had my g-system, my rack (rocktron chamelon, mesa 2:100 power amp, that coneected to 2 marshall 1960 cabs.
and i used an rocktron midi-mate as my foor controller. BUT my whole setup was customized by Paul Lenders for powering my pedals thru the rocktron midi-mate (so i don’t use any adapters)
i go from my EBMM Luke 1 through my Boss FV500-L (volume pedal) that goes straight in the midi-mate with an TRS cable! BUT! wit 2 mono plugs to 1 stereo plug (wich i put the stereo plug in the midi-mate, and the 2 mono plugs goes in the boss Fv500-L, but i don’t know where, because Paul Lenders made the system.
Now, I wanted to upgrade my system, and decided to buy the G-system and an Mesa TriAxis from a friend guitar player., and sell my Rocktron midi-mate floorcontroller.
but we had an agreement on price, so he want the trs cable and the volume pedal.
Now i searched the YouTube universe and the internet how i do the connetction from an volume pedal to the g-system.. but i’m very confused on it!!.. and i read that some of th g-systems had issues with some volume pedals?….
now i need an new volume/expression pedal with an TRS cable..
I loved the Boss FV500-L.. the reason i chose this Low impedance pedal, is because i use an Ernie Ball Music Man Luke 1 20th anniversary with Emg active pick-ups. and when using a guitar with passive pick ups i need an High Impedance Pedal.. that said a guitar store to me..
but what about the TRS cable.. do i need an TRS cable wit 1 jack to 1 jack.. or do i need (like previous setup.. 2jacks to 1 jack)?
and where i had to plug it in and configure it? hope someone will/can help me.. i need an expression pedal. but just needed the “volume pedal” configuration.
Do i have to plug my guitar first in the Volume Pedal or first on my Custom Audio Electronics Wah MC404??
