Musik Man JP6 (Refinish) Identification and Information

I recently bought a nice Music Man JP6 Model. It has been refinished! A previous owner didn’t like the finish and painted it in some sort of White Pearl (Looks professional!!). I guess the original painting was blue Pearl…
The guy also made some changes on that guitar – he installed Seymour Duncan active PU’s, other knobs and strapbuttons.

Since I have no additonal information on the guitar I want to ask you how I can make sure, that this guitar is not an fake or a “modded Sterling” – are there some properties only MM Guitars have? – Serial Nr. is G 21802
