Modding a St Vincent tremolo

Hey guys,
i am thinking of getting my first musicman just because i fell in love with the shape. I think its the coolest guitar ever.
However this comes with some issues. Others that i think are fixable and others that you have to leave with. For example the fret access..
I was thinking.. Majesty’s trem looks like the vincent’s one. Are they the same? If yes the only difference should be that some wood is missing from the back so the trem can go both ways. What if i could take the guitar to…
