MM JP6 BFR – frets. Should it stay or should it go?

Hi! 6 years ago I bought Axis SS, installed OFR tremolo, stainless 6100 jumbo frets. Playsfeels like a dream. Recently I purchased JP6 BFR both lefty. All the way wonderful instrument, but…the frets. They’re too low, too small. When it comes to some bluesy rock like Gary Moore for example it’s not comfortable as Axis is. harder to bend etc. Now, the point is: is it a matter of too low frets? Refretting to higher ones would solve the problem, or is it also the radius that causes such a discomfort? :confused:
