M3000: Bypass using midi (sysex)
I would like to turn on and off bypass with midi on my M3000.
I can’t find any midi controller to bypass effect so I’ve got it to work with SysEx.
But there is still a problem.
If I send Bypass Off, I can see that the bypass on the front turns off as expected.
For testing I manually press Bypass On on the front again.
Re-sends Sysex Bypass Off. Nothing happens!
If I then send SysEx Bypass On and then SysEx Bypass Off, that’s fine.
Using SysEx Bypass Off and On seems to work fine as long as I keep my fingers away from the Bypass button on the front.
Has the Bypass button on the front higher priority?
In some way, it makes sense, but if so, I would like to disable that priority.
Can I do that?
Is there no Midi Control Change that can control the bypass?
Other suggestions?
