I need help on what to do with the gear inside this guitar

Okay, so my dad bought me this used Sub 1 at a local store for christmas at least 6 years ago. Everything seemed fine with it until 2 years later when it just stopped playing through amps. I wondered what was wrong with it, because it was used i wasn’t very surprised, and took off the pick guard to find this mess of a soldering job and someone had messed this thing up OR it came from the factory like this.
