Early 2010s JP6 tone capacitor
Hi, does anyone have info regarding the tone cap used on early 2010s musicman JP6?
I lost the original tone capacitor of my 2011 JP6. I remember it was 0.022uf, small, red and rather generic looking without discernable brand.
I do think there’s something special about them. I tried several aftermarket caps and the closest I got is a vintage 0.047uf sprague ceramic disc, but it’s still a bit muddy compared to original. I ordered replacement 0.022uf from Musicman but it seems they no longer…
