Any good people at repairing musicman instruments near chicago?

It’s been rough, idk, I’m trying to get a bass repaired, it’s a pre-eb so calling customer service for a new preamp is out of the question and I’m looking to get the preamp repaired, I think my repair guys might have accidentally reverse polarity’d it or the mod they removed from it had pushed the preamp to the verge of death and it just died shortly after.
