Alter Ego x4 delay won't stay off when switched to loop mode
I’m pretty sure I’ve used loop mode without issue a while ago, but the last time I tried, I noticed that there is always a delay preset active when I’m in looper mode. I hear the delay when I play through, recording or not. I switch to delay mode, and a preset is lit. I turn it off, switch back to looper mode, and the delay preset is back on. Switch back to delay mode, and the preset is lit and active. Switch to another preset, do it all again, same thing. It’s always the last preset I’ve had on.
Also, in looper mode, the controls affect the delay, not the looper.
So, is this user error somehow or is the pedal toast? Or half toast, since the delays seem to work. Am I to understand that there’s no further firmware support for this pedal?
