Taylor Guitars: Building The Future is a new original documentary co-produced by Guitar.com and Taylor Guitars, to celebrate the Californian company’s 50th anniversary. In it, we sit down with Taylor staff old and new – from co-founder Bob Taylor and current President & CEO Andy Powers, to Director Of Sustainability Scott Paul and Production Co-ordinator Julie Gardiner.
The film also takes us behind the scenes at Taylor’s remarkable facility in El Cajon, California – getting an up-close look at the way that the brand combines modern technology with craftsmanship and hand-work to produce some of the world’s finest acoustic and electric instruments.
Taylor Guitars: Building The Future is not just the story of a guitar company, it’s a story of how friendship, innovation and trust can take an idea from one instrument to thousands, and how that same special magic has transformed the company and the industry as a whole.
