“We’ve been around for 50 fuckin’ years, and we ain’t quitting!” Springsteen said on stage. “We ain’t doing no farewell tour bullshit! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band!
He added, “Farewell to what? A thousand people screaming your name? Get the hell out, I ain’t going anywhere!”

Springsteen’s longevity has been in question as of late, after he postponed European tour dates in May due to “vocal issues”, as reported by The Independent. The mid-tour pause fuelled rumours about Springsteen’s health and his ongoing tour with the E Street Band.
While the future of Springsteen’s career has been debated in recent years, E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt has also dismissed the speculation, saying: “I don’t see the end anywhere in sight, to be honest, especially in Europe, where we’re bigger than we’ve ever been. I think we can play every summer for evermore, man.”
Springsteen and the E Street Band’s 2024 tour will be wrapping their current North American leg of the tour by 22 November. The band are set to make stops in Washington, Baltimore, Toronto, Vancouver, and more.
Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to the road in 2025 to kick off their European leg to perform previously postponed tour dates.
