Walrus Audio’s Canvas Rehearsal is the “perfect end-of-chain tool to help you perfect your sound before taking to the stage”
Walrus Audio has just released the latest addition to its Canvas Utility line. The Canvas Rehearsal is an end-of-chain practice tool designed to “enhance your practice sessions and refine your performance”.
The Canvas Rehearsal allows musicians to listen to their instrument through headphones, play along with tracks via Bluetooth or 1/8″ auxiliary input, and practice with an integrated metronome. “With its versatile design and comprehensive features, the Canvas Rehearsal is the perfect end-of-chain tool to help you perfect your sound before taking the stage,” Walrus Audio says.

Users can also easily tweak the desired tempo of the metronome with a Tap Tempo mode, as well as a Precise Tempo Control that allows you to dial in a more exact BPM from 40 to 250 BPM. There’s also the option of customising your meter and accent beats to align with your tempo. And an OLED display keeps musicians in the know, showing information about BPM (Beats Per Minute), Time Signature, Beat Division, and Accent Note.

The Canvas Rehearsal also allows users to control the volume mix of your instrument, metronome, and auxiliary audio input individually, allowing musicians to kick up their backing tracks or let their riffing take the centre-stage.
Housed in a 2.25”x2.93”x4.8” diecast enclosure, the Canvas Rehearsal is also MIDI compatible, so it doesn’t limit the ability for MIDI data to pass through to the other pedals in your control chain.
The Canvas Rehearsal is available to pre-order now for $249.99, with orders shipping 3 February. It joins the rest of Walrus Audio’s Canvas line, consisting of re-amping, tuner and DI units.
