Vox releases limited-edition Mini Superbeetle in British Racing Green
Vox has unveiled a limited run of Mini Superbeetle amps decked in British Racing Green. The compact stack, which was first released at Summer NAMM 2018, is inspired by the sounds of the British Invasion.
Its fresh finish aside, the amp’s features remain unchanged. It relies on Vox’s NuTube technology to replicate the sparkle and chime of the brand’s iconic AC30. The amp also boasts in-built effects such as a digital spring reverb and a tremolo. Other notable features include a single 10-inch Celestion speaker as well as three power options:
50 watts at 4 ohms
25 watts at 8 ohms
12.5 watts at 16 ohms
This isn’t Vox’s only limited-edition version of the Mini Superbeetle – the brand previously released a Union Jack edition earlier this year.
