Tool release first batch of old music videos on YouTube
Tool have uploaded a raft of VHS-style music videos to their official YouTube channel. This follows their recent effort to make their entire discography available digitally.
The music videos for Sober, Ænema, Stinkfist, Schism, Vicarious and Prison Sex are a welcome addition to the rock veterans’ YouTube page, which, prior to this update, solely consisted of audio-only clips.
According to Tool guitarist and band video director Adam Jones, newer clips – possibly involving Fear Inoculum tunes – are on the horizon. “We have big plans for videos. We’ve got a couple in the making, and you’ll see them when they come out,” Jones said in a recent interview with Revolver.
In other Tool news, the band announced a North American fall tour in support of the recently released Fear Inoculum. Tickets are officially available on 6 September, but you can apply to be a member of the Tool army to access them on 4 September.
