The guitar Fender and whisky purveyor Jameson just partnered on is… quite something
Last year, the whisky connoisseurs at Jameson decided that the music industry needed a shake up. The result was the Distilled Sounds, a project encouraging collaboration between artists across the globe. Singer Anderson .Paak has backed the campaign from the beginning, but it seems more are keen to join the ranks; Fender has just announced its partnership with Jameson for some St. Patrick’s inspired gear.
As part of Jameson’s Triple Distilled Collection, Fender has reimagined its Player II Telecaster and Tone Master Princeton Reverb amplifier. The Tele in particular has been given the luck of the Irish, with a bold green body and Jameson branding.

The guitar and amp are available now, with each costing a pinch more than their usual models. The Tele is £769, a £60 jump up from the usual £709, while the amp costs £890 rather than the usual £829.

Despite the Jameson branding, both the amp and the guitar promise a “0% alcohol percentage” on the Jameson web store. So, unlike a bottle of whisky, the gear can be appreciated by drinkers and non-drinkers alike.
“Jameson’s commitment to craft and community resonates with us,” Justin Norvell, EVP of Product and Manufacturing at Fender, comments. “This guitar is more than an instrument – it’s a piece of art that brings people together, whether you’re on stage or just sharing a moment with friends. As Jameson Distilled Sound’s Music Partner, we are excited to see what this collaboration brings”.
Jameson is equally as enthusiastic about the collaboration, with Lynda Cody, Head of Experiences, Partnerships & Advocacy for Jameson, saying: “Jameson’s ethos rests around bringing people together. The magic happens when worlds collide – when music, style, and whiskey all meet in a shared passion for their craft, echoing our global positioning that if people share the same spirit and values-smooth, welcoming and light-hearted-they Must Be A Jameson.”
Of course, there is also some actual alcohol available in the Triple Distilled Collection. Longstanding collaborator Anderson .Paak has his own limited edition Jameson bottle. The label has some St. Paddy’s worthy clovers, instruments and a picture of Paak grinning on the label.
“It was awesome to be involved in the design process, presenting different elements of my personal journey through the label artwork,” .Paak reflects. “It was an incredible experience to be able to immortalize this partnership with a limited – edition bottle. I am looking forward to creating more unforgettable moments with my collaboration with Jameson!”
The bottle also has a QR code on the label to allow a peek into the Distilled Sounds project. Consumers can sip on their Jameson while watching interviews, or explore tracks created at the Sound Distillery. There are also competitions for people to win pieces from the Triple Distilled Collection.
The collection is set to have a third collaborative drop in the lead up to St. Patrick’s day.
