Rockboard announces new USB interface pedalboard module
Rockboard has announced its latest module for its modular pedalboard system: The MOD 7 USB Audio Interface Patchbay.
The unit is a fully-featured audio interface, designed to directly capture the sound of your rig, as well as acting as an active DI box and allowing you to route connections to your amp or a mixing desk.
Image: RockboardThe USB Interface aspect of the unit is compatible with PC and Mac, and supports both 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz sampling rates, as well as a frequency range of 50 Hz – 20 kHz. Its output configuration also means that, if you want to process your signal with effects from your DAW you can do just that and send your processed signal back through the balanced DI output for use in a live setting.
Additionally, if you want to use your board without your DAW, you can just put the unit into bypass mode and use the unbalanced output to drive your amp as if it were a regular passive patch bay.
The MOD 7 USB audio interface will be available in mid-November, for €99. Find out more at rockboard.de.
