Reverend paints Double Agent OGs in vivid, retro-inspired colours
Reverend Guitars has unveiled a trio of fresh, retrolicious finishes for the Double Agent OG. The new models are only available on Chicago Music Exchange.
Coral, Avocado and Mulberry Mist are the finishes on offer – with a few variations in specifications between them. The Mulberry Mist Double Agent OG sports a dark roasted maple neck, pau ferro fretboard and tortoiseshell pickguard, while the other two have roasted maple necks and fretboards with parchment pickguards. The Coral and Avocado guitars are also available in left-handed versions.
Otherwise, the guitars retain the specs of the default Double Agent OG. They have korina bodies, the brand’s iconic Bass Contour knob, dual-action truss rod, locking tuners, as well as a Reverend 9A5 P-90 in the neck position and a Reverend HA5 humbucker at the bridge.
Back at Summer NAMM 2019, Reverend launched three new guitars: the Manta Ray 390, Charger RAFM and RGX, the latter of which is a new signature model for Reeves Gabrels that celebrates 10 years of collaboration between the brand and The Cure guitarist.
The Avocado and Coral Double Agent OGs retail for $899 (left-handers at $949), while the Mulberry Mist Double OG retails for $999. More info at chicagomusicexchange.com.
