Reverb launches Gig From Home performance series

Reverb.com has offered its YouTube and social media channels as a platform to artists for online performances during the coronavirus pandemic.
The online marketplace will allow musicians and songwriters to give virtual concerts to their huge online audience, whilst also earning money, and giving them the opportunity to sell merchandise.
The performances take place every Tuesday at 7pm central time, across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, where artists will perform as part of Gig From Home. This evening, April 28, the Italian partnership Lovesick Duo will perform, boasting an affinity for early Americana and country.
Take a look at some of Reverb’s most recent performances below, from Ryley Walker and NNAMDÏ, with plenty more to come in due course.
NNAMDÏ

“NNAMDÏ is a genre-blending shape-shifter, a multi-instrumentalist that can play slinky emo guitar riffs and produce high-energy indie pop in equal measure. His Gig From Home performance arrived just days after his latest album, BRAT, was released—so he plays some fiery renditions of brand-new songs in addition to solo performances of older jams.”
Ryley Walker

“Ryley Walker’s fingerpicking stylings—influenced by the likes of Robbie Basho and John Martyn—can catch you off guard. With his delicate interplay and subtle mastery, he makes it look effortless. Then one moment and a flick of the wrist later, he’s changed directions and opened up a new vista.”
