Noel Gallagher jokes about the ‘real reason’ he fell out with Liam in new fan footage
Noel Gallagher recently delivered his first unofficial interview following the announcement of Oasis’s highly anticipated reunion, and it was nothing short of entertaining.
The interaction took place Wednesday (28 August) in a Stone Island store in London, where Noel was approached by a fan named Steve Sheward and his four children while shopping. After Sheward informed his children that they were in the presence of a member of his “legendary band,” a flurry of curious questions ensued from the kids.

In the clip posted on X/ Twitter, one of the children asks Noel why he and his brother Liam had fallen out, to which the older Gallagher cheekily replies: “Why’d I fall out with him? ‘Cause he stole my teddy bear.”
The child, unimpressed, shoots back, “You’re lying,” to which Noel insists, “Not lying. He stole it in 1978.”
The High Flying Birds bandleader then cracks up when another kid, clearly fed up with the story, tells him, “You’re fake, see ya,” before walking off.
Elsewhere in the post are various videos and pictures of Noel walking alongside the family on the streets after leaving the store. Sheward wrote on X: “Bumped into Noel Gallagher yesterday in the Stone Island shop in London, boyhood dream to walking into a pub for a beer with Noel & Liam, trumped that with my children making memories and just hope I can get tickets next year. A true gentleman [and] scholar.”

The amusing exchange arrives as Oasis announce their return after 15 years, having already added three shows to their original 14-date tour due to “unprecedented demand”. Alongside the Gallagher brothers, former Oasis members Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs and Gem Archer are reportedly set to join the lineup as well.
One source told The Mirror: “None of the band is 100% confirmed yet, but Gem is looking very likely along with Bonehead.”
