NAMM 2020: Reverb put a Klon Centaur and Lovetone Big Cheese on one pedalboard
To coincide with the announcement of their forthcoming feature-length film on the history of guitar pedals and how they’ve influenced todays boom, Reverb chose to showcase a vast array of killer vintage pedals at their NAMM 2020 booth. Ranging from vintage Maestro’s and the original fuzz face right through the origins and evolutions of the humble effects pedal.
However, the pedalboard in question represents the boutique boom in the mid 1990s which includes some of the most revered stompboxes on the modern market. Including an original Klon Centaur, a Red Llama from Way Huge under Jeorge Tripps’ tutelage before they partnered with Dunlop plus offerings from Analog Man, Lovetone and Paul Cochrane.
The pedalboard is running through Milkman Sound’s The Amp.
The Pedal Movie, Reverb’s first-ever feature-length film, will dive into the culture of pedals and tell the story of how a small industry grew from a handful of companies into the galaxy of different makers building pedals today.
