Mesa Engineering reveals Mesa/Boogie Mark VII amp
Mesa Engineering has revealed their Mesa/Boogie Mark VII amp, available in head and combo configurations.

Dubbed the “Magnum Opus” of Mesa Boogie founder Randall Smith’s 50-odd year career in amp design, the Mark VII series features the smallest size among the brand’s 90-watt Mark Series amplifiers. The amp also packs a three-channel, nine-mode preamp alongside Mesa’s proprietary Simul-Class power section that the brand says will offer three distinct characters across three wattage ranges.
The amps pack the usual array of desired Mesa features, with an on-board graphic EQ, Reverb, an Effects Loop, and power switching, along with the CabClone IR DI Direct Interface, which boasts identical features and IRs from Mesa’s standalone CabClone IR. The built-in version on the Mark VII series allows individual assignment of 8 Rectifier and Boogie cabinets per channel.
Notably, the Mark VII head and 1×12 Combo can be paired with up to two MESA 4×12 cabinets, while the 19” rackmount head configuration maintains the cabinet-selection and pairing benefits of the Mark VII head.
The Mark VII 1×12 combo is now available at $3,799, while the head and rackmount head are both available at $3,499 via Mesa Engineering’s website.
