Manson Guitar Works celebrates its 10th anniversary with 10 unique guitars
Manson Guitar Works has announced the Manson MA 10th Anniversary range, a limited run of precisely 10 unique instruments in celebration of a decade of the brand.
Each guitar started life as a standard swamp ash MA EVO body assembled by Manson head luthier Tim Stark. Each Manson dealer was then allowed to spec out a guitar, their requests being fulfilled by the Manson workshop.
Stark said of the initiative: “We’re excited to build these special instruments reflecting this 10-year milestone. It shows the versatility of the MA platform and I’ve enjoyed having direction from our dealer network as to what finishes and elements their customers would like to see.”
Across all 10 instruments, some specs are consistent. These include a dual-humbucker layout with a Sustainiac Sustainer neck pickup (an active pickup system that provides infinite sustain), and a two-piece tune-o-matic-style hardtail bridge. From these base specifications, however, dealers added a number of out-there variations, with in-built ZVEX Fuzz Factories and unique finishes and neck woods.
Manson Guitar Works CEO Adrian Ashton stated, “We wanted to celebrate our core product with some open creativity from our dealers. It’s been a fantastic showcase of the work we are putting out whilst keeping our MA EVO design at the forefront of the limited run.”
