Magneto Guitars launches new Sonnet Supreme guitar and and Ruby Bass at NAMM 2025
NAMM 2025: Magneto Guitars is set to showcase two new instruments at this year’s NAMM. While the Sonnet Supreme and Ruby Bass will be available for purchase in May, NAMM attendees can try them out this weekend.
First up, the Sonnet Supreme is Magneto’s brand new electric guitar. Inspired by the shape of Magneto’s classic Sonnet, the basswood body has a laurel drop top, brown roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.

Unlike the classic Sonnet, the Supreme has a new pickup combination, pairing an MPMN-1 Mini humbucker with 2 MPRS 5 single coils. It’s a combo that aims to flesh out your top ends, while still maintaining strong, thick tone and sustain. The floating tremolo is also combined with a set of staggered locking tuners and a bone nut.
The Sonnet Supreme will be available in Brown Sunburst, Amber, and See Thru Red Burst.

Magneto’s new Ruby Bass aims to provide a new playing experience for bassists. The choice of pickups and their placement should offer fatter, lower end tones than you might expect from a bass.
Much like the Sonnet Supreme, the Ruby Bass has a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Yet the fingerboard also boasts newly designed Magneto Ruby inlays.

A bone nut will ensure a strong tonal response, while a classic vintage type bridge is also in place. The tone can be controlled by a volume, a general tone and a balance pot. The bass also boasts the new Magneto® MAP-1 and MAJ-1 pickups.
The Ruby Bass will be available in Ruby Red Metallic, Olive Whisper and Sunset Gold.
Both instruments will be available to purchase in May, while the first models will be displayed at NAMM at booth Nr. 5516. For more info, head to Magneto Guitars.
