Luna Guitars’ Vista Eagle Tropical Wood is built with five different woods
Luna Guitars has announced the Vista Eagle Tropical Wood, an acoustic-electric guitar that combines quilt mahogany, padauk, bird’s eye maple, koa, and flame maple in its body construction – which portrays an eagle flying over a desert scenery.
The grand concert-sized guitar also uses mahogany for its neck, and ebony for its bridge and 20-fret fingerboard, which is adorned with pearl moon phase inlays.
For amplification, the Vista Eagle Tropical Wood comes equipped with a Fishman Presys+ preamp, giving you control over a three-band EQ, phase inverter and onboard tuner. Its hardware features are rounded up with a bone nut, sealed die cast tuners and dual-action truss rod.
The ornate design also appears on several other instruments from Luna Guitars, including a 12-string acoustic-electric guitar and a concert ukulele.
The Vista Eagle Tropical Wood comes in a leather-tooled hardshell case and is available now at $729 ($769 for the 12-string edition)
