Liam Gallagher says Oasis album “could” happen if they “nail this tour and be kind to one another”

Liam Gallagher has once again spoken about the possibility of Oasis releasing a new album – if he and Noel “nail this tour and be kind to one another”, that is.
The Manchester band announced their long-awaited reunion earlier this year, and have since plotted dates in the UK & Ireland, North America, Australia, South America, South Korea and Japan.

The last few months have also seen the younger Gallagher teasing a potential Oasis album on Twitter/X. Back in September, a fan asked if it is “true that Oasis will have a new album”, to which Liam replied: “Yep it’s already finished.” He later added that he was “blown away” by the songs Noel had written for the new record.
But the singer soon backtracked on his claims, telling fans last month that there’s “no Oasis album in the making” and that he was just “fucking joking”.
“Everyone is a little uptight these days I’m sorry if I have upset anyone but fuck me it was a laugh,” Liam wrote on X.

Let’s just calm the fuck down there is no oasis album in the making I was fucking joking remember them and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days I’m sorry if I have upset anyone but fuck me it was a laugh

That said, it appears that an Oasis album is back on the cards once more. Responding to a fan who raised the question again yesterday, the musician says: “I reckon [if] we nail this tour and be kind to one another there could be an album. This is what real bands do, let’s just take one step at a time. I think you’d agree that was the wisest move.”

New Oasis album or not though, one thing is clear — that Liam wants the tour to be a “success” and for fans to leave their shows feeling fully satisfied.
“Listen I know what’s gotta be done and how it’s gotta be done,” he writes on X. “I want this tour to be a success and people to go home as high as a kite.”
Liam has also replied to a post that quoted Noel saying there “won’t be any fallouts” in the reunion, writing, “War is over”.

In the meantime, Noel himself has promised that the upcoming Oasis’s tour “won’t be as raucous as back in the day” as he and his brother are “on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old.”
