Liam Gallagher claims Oasis will still “wipe the floor” with most bands out there even on a bad day
Oasis still have it – at least, according to Liam Gallagher, who insists that the group will “wipe the floor” with most bands out there even on a bad day.
As the Gallagher brothers gear up to perform together for the first time since 2009, fans can rest easy knowing that they will “be as good” as they once were when they take the stage next summer.

Taking to X/ Twitter, Gallagher reveals that he was recently questioned by a fan about whether Oasis could still deliver the same electrifying performances after such a long hiatus.
“Got asked a ridiculous question yesterday,” the singer writes. “‘Are Oasis gonna be as good as you once were because when some bands get back together they’re not as good?’ I said ‘listen here you c**t even on our bad day we’ll still wipe the floor with majority of bands out there.’”

The younger Gallagher also recently teased that he has been “blown away” by the songs his brother has written for a potential new Oasis record. While there is no official confirmation of a new Oasis album yet, Liam previously responded to a fan’s inquiry about its status by stating, “Yep, it’s already finished.” Indeed, with both brothers now seemingly on good terms after years of tension, the prospect of new Oasis music feels more tangible than ever.
Meanwhile, the Edenbridge Bonfire Society recently burnt an effigy in response to Oasis’s Ticketmaster scandal. Many fans reportedly faced significant price hikes due to the controversial dynamic pricing model employed by Ticketmaster during ticket sales to the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour.
The band later announced that dynamic pricing will not be used for their North America dates – a decision that left many UK and Ireland fans feeling like they’ve been “mugged off”.
“If they’re acknowledging that it’s an ‘unacceptable experience’ for fans, then they really need to partially refund the UK fans who’ve had the experience they’re talking about,” one user commented.
