Liam Fray to host an online listening party for Courteneers’ debut record
As bands and fans alike figure out what to do while socially distancing, Courteeners frontman Liam Fray has announced that he will host a listening party for the band’s 2008 debut album St. Jude tonight.
Fray announced the event via Twitter, after establishing it wouldn’t clash with an Oasis Definitely Maybe listening party hosted by Bonehead. Fray will also host a Q&A along with the listening party.
Right. Spoke to @BoneheadsPage
He’s on 10pm doing Defintley Maybe with the legend that is @Tim_Burgess – think LG is too?
So…let’s do St. Jude at 9pm over on INSTA LIVE and get you in the mood.

The listening party kicks off today (March 27) at 9pm GMT on Fray’s Instagram.
Earlier this year, The Courteeners released their sixth studio album, More. Again. Forever., which followed their 2016 LP Mapping the Rendezvous.
Many artists have been figuring out how to bring a live music experience to fans during the coronavirus pandemic – with many live-streamed and home-recorded concerts being hosted by musicians across the globe.
Bands are also digging into their back-catalogue of concert footage – for example, Metallica are streaming a full-length concert each week, for what they’re calling Metallica Mondays.
