We’ve teamed up with online guitar tutors Your Guitar Academy to bring you weekly YouTube videos featuring tips, tutorials and lessons of the most iconic players in the industry.
In the first instalment of our new video tutorial series, you can learn to play the intro to The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s iconic 1966 track Hey Joe. Based around the E Minor Pentatonic, Dan Holton takes you through each section, step by step. Once you’ve learned this section, there’ll be future videos to help you finish the rest of the track, including adding in Hendrix-isms to ensure you master it.
