John Mayer drops new single, Carry Me Away, with music video
John Mayer has released a new single, Carry Me Away, and shared its accompanying music video.
The video opens with the bluesman crafting the laid-back tune’s melody on a Korg microKEY and an Akai MPC Touch. The clip then shifts towards the song’s recording process, capturing Mayer with an assortment of guitars, including his PRS Silver Sky.
Carry Me Away is Mayer’s second single this year after I Guess I Just Feel Like. The New Light singer is currently on the summer leg of his 2019 world tour, and will be kicking off his Europe trek on 1 October with a show at Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe.
