Jack White offers sneak peek of his Fender Custom Shop Triplecaster

NAMM 2025: A Fender Custom Shop version of Jack White’s wild-spec’d Blue Sparkle Triplecaster is finally coming our way.
Offering a first look of the guitar alongside his previous “road testing” model in a new Instagram post, White notes that the upcoming axe is hand built by Fender Custom Shop master builder Chip Ellis and Fender pickup designer Tim Shaw.

“Wanted to show y’all a sneak peek of the first Fender Custom shop Limited Edition Triplecaster (on the left),” White says in his post. “You can see all the subtle changes that have happened compared to the Frankensteined model from all the years of road testing next to it on the right!”
Between the two models, the Custom Shop version sports a much cleaner looking front, with the screws and pole pieces around its pickups and pickguard now gone. The guitar’s original Stratocaster-style headstock has also been swapped out for a Telecaster-style one.
That said, the partially-scalloped fretboard of the production Triplecaster remains, as do the guitar’s unique pickup configuration: a CuNiFe Wide Range humbucker in the neck, a JW-90 in the middle, and a custom Jack White humbucker in the bridge.
White also confirms in the comments that the new Custom Shop version will feature the Glaser Bender — Nashville luthier Joe Glaser’s take on the B-Bender.
“Too many interesting features to mention at this moment, but this brand new creation is at NAMM right now at the Third Man Hardware booth for you to play,” the former White Stripes man teases.

Speaking of new releases, Fender recently announced its new Indonesian-made Standard Series guitars, priced at just $599.99 apiece.
Unveiled at this year’s NAMM show, the Standard Series also marks the firm’s first Fender-branded guitar line to be manufactured outside of the US and Mexico since the Modern Player range, which debuted over a decade ago.
With five models to choose from — a Stratocaster, HSS Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass, the new lineup is said to deliver the “approachable playability and inspiring tone” that the big F is often celebrated for.
