Gibson takes the 335 “to new heights” with the return of the ES Supreme

Gibson has announced the return of its ES Supreme, delivering a refreshed feature set and three core striking finishes for its iconic ES-335 model.
Joining the Les Paul and SG in getting a Supreme revamp, this new offering is available in Bourbon Burst, Blueberry Burst and Seafoam Green. A Royal Tan finish is also up for grabs directly via Gibson only.

The Supreme re-launch began with the Les Paul in September last year. The model arrived following a teaser from CEO Cesar Gueikian a month prior to its launch, and the SG followed shortly after in February of 2024.
The Supreme take on the ES-335 completes what Gibson is hailing as its “holy trinity” – and just like its Supreme siblings, it also offers an exclusive edition with an extra pickup. This model is also only available via Gibson, and hosts a moodier Ebony look. Even with its added extra, it sits at the same price point.
Gibson says the famed 335 has been taken “to new heights” for this launch, with upgrades including AAA-grade figured maple tops, Super Split Block mother-of-pearl neck inlays, push/pull volume controls for coil tapping, gold hardware, and a new mother-of-pearl headstock inlay inspired by a design from the 1940s discovered in the Gibson archives.
It also has a mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile and a compound radius ebony fretboard. Burstbucker Rhythm Pro and Burstbucker Lead Pro pickups “enhance sonic versatility”, and each ships with a hardshell case. Take a closer look at each and hear them in play below:

The ES Supreme is available now for £3,899 directly via Gibson, where you can also view its full range of all Supreme models.
